Things like regenerating health, kill streaks and Michael Bay-esque explosions dotting expansive battlefields full of tanks and helicopters are absent from Counter-Strike – the focus is on smaller teams of Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists completing objectives rather than killing everything that moves.
